Arizona Green Shops
AAA Arizona participates in the Arizona Green Shops Program which certifies environmentally friendly auto repair shops and teaches employees how to reduce hazardous waste through the use of new equipment/cleaning methods. Green Shops voluntarily go above and beyond environmental regulations by implementing an array of pollution prevention measures to reduce waste, save energy/water and other materials. The pollution prevention measures adopted by Green shops reduce employees’ exposure to hazardous chemicals and creates a safer workplace.


AAA Great Battery Roundup
Each year, improperly stored and discarded vehicle batteries create health, fire and safety hazards for humans, animals and the environment. To encourage motorists to “round up” and recycle their used batteries, AAA holds its annual Great Battery Roundup®.

For every battery collected, AAA will donate $4 to Keep Phoenix Beautiful
or Tucson Clean & Beautiful.
