Don Gleason Joins AAA Arizona as Travel VP
Phoenix, Ariz. August 12, 2008 – AAA Arizona announces that Don Gleason has joined the club as vice president of travel. In his new position, Gleason will be responsible for researching and forecasting market trends, opportunities and competition in order to develop strategies and programs related to club’s travel products and services.
“With over 20 years of experience, Don brings a high level of experience and understanding of the industry to the club,” said Don Nunnari, vice president of membership products and service for AAA Arizona. “We are confident that his expertise will allow him to expand upon and improve the travel services we provide our members.”
Most recently, Gleason held the title of senior overseas manager for Virgin Holidays Limited, one of the United Kingdom’s largest transatlantic tour operators. He has also served as a consultant for IDEA Resorts Design and held the title of executive vice president for Great Northern Resorts, chief operating officer of Radixx International, president of Universal Studios Vacations and director of international marketing and sales of Walt Disney Company.
Gleason holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Belhaven College in Jackson, Miss. and a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University.
