Phoenix, Ariz. February 24, 2010. This spring, the San Diego Zoo will reopen its popular “Polar Bear Plunge” exhibit, which shows how polar bears live in the Arctic and the threats they face due to climate change. To spread the word, zoo staff and animals will be visiting the AAA office in Chandler this Friday.
The San Diego Zoo’s pit stop at the AAA branch office in Chandler will include:
- Popular animals including a rock hyrax (little brother to the elephant, resembling a guinea pig), a double yellow headed parrot and a koala as well as and trainers from zoo.
- Zoo tickets available for purchase at a discounted rate for AAA members.
- Prizes including stays at San Diego hotels and zoo tickets.
